Step1:Warm  up:

1、Greet  the  class  :Good  morning  ,boys  and  girls!

What  day  is  it   today?

What  the  weather  like  today?

What  was  the  weather  like    yesterday

2、Revision : Show  the  word  cards  to  revise  the  words 

Went  to  a park . Went  swimming , went  hiking , went  fishing 

Watched  TV , washed  the  clothes , read  a  book.

Revise  the  past  tenses.

Step2: Presentation:

1、After  revising , ask  the  students ; What  did  you  do  yesterday?

Ask  the  pupils  to   answer  one  by  one .

Show  a  card  and  ask  the  students

I  went  swimming   yesterday . (Do  action  of  swimming)

Did  you  go  swimming ? (help  them  to  understand  the  meaning)

Ask  the  students  to  answer ; Yes ,    I did ./No ,I didn't

Write  the  sentences  on  the  Bb . Ask  them   to  read.

I  went  swimming , and  I  did  some  other  things .  Too . 

Can  you  guess?

Ask  the  pupils  to  guess  according  to  learn  the  phrases.

If  they  get  right  .they  can  get  a  flag.

2、Play  a game  ;  show  the  word  cards  and  ask  student  to  come  to  the  Bb  ,  and  the  other  students  guess

3、pair  work  to  ask  and  answer.
